Since 1854, Teixits Vicens has been producing traditional Mallorcan Lengua fabrics — known in Mallorcan as "llengües" — entirely in-house. The vibrant, patterned textiles are created through an intricate hand process that covers every stage, from preparing and dyeing the yarns to weaving, tailoring, and joinery. The meticulous craftsmanship and high quality of materials are the hallmarks of this remarkable family business.

Showroom & Range

The well-organised shop and showroom is filled with products made from the house's own fabric: bags, tablecloths, cushions, cushion covers, slippers, bookmarks, dog collars, hats, purses, and key rings, as well as ceramics. The range is perfect for anyone looking for an original, Mallorca-made souvenir or a distinctive piece for the home. Fabrics can also be cut to your requirements on request.

Workshop Tours

By prior arrangement — via email or phone — you can tour the entire production facility: from the cellar to the loft, the team walks you through every step of the textile-making process. The tours give you a real sense of just how much handwork goes into every single piece. Advance booking is essential, as a tour cannot be guaranteed without a reservation.
