The Climb
Around 600 steps stand between you and the top — a physically demanding effort, but one that's perfectly manageable if you take it at a steady pace. At the landings and recessed resting spots along the way, views of the surrounding area open up, and once you reach the summit a sweeping panorama over Santa Ponsa and the sea awaits. If you're heading up in wet weather, bear in mind that some steps can get slippery — handrails are in place throughout, which helps.

The views are at their most impressive during the ascent itself, at the resting points along the stairway. At the very top, residential buildings fill part of the outlook, and some of the lateral views have been blocked by private properties.
