Description

The View Point La Victòria is a viewpoint on the La Victòria peninsula near Alcúdia in the north of Mallorca.

From the viewpoint, your gaze sweeps across the entire Badia de Pollença, all the way to Port de Pollença and the Formentor peninsula. Sea and mountains fill the view in equal measure, and the scent of the surrounding pine forests adds to the atmosphere. In the evening, when the sun sits low in the sky, the outlook truly comes into its own.

Access & the path up

A small path below the Ermita leads to the viewpoint itself, with a wooden handrail to guide the way. The final stretch runs over rocks and loose scree and is quite steep — sturdy footwear is strongly advisable. The drive up along the road is quite an experience in itself.

A starting point for walks

Several walking routes set off from the viewpoint into the surrounding area. The shortest takes around 35 minutes one way, while the longest runs to well over two hours. The spot also lends itself perfectly to a picnic.

How to find it

The viewpoint is located in Alcúdia (07400) on the La Victòria peninsula. It is easily reached by car, and cycling up is also an option.
