Description
Villa Vegana is a 100% vegan hotel and restaurant in Selva, set amid the Mallorcan countryside.
Vegan Hotel & Restaurant
Founded in 2013, Villa Vegana is a fully plant-based house — accommodation and kitchen alike are entirely vegan. The restaurant serves breakfast and dinner, with a menu that impresses through creativity and real culinary craft. Dishes such as lasagne, pinsa and a Greek-style grilled platter feature alongside a vegan burrata as a starter. The soya is made in-house and prepared according to the desired end product. Rotating daily menus and themed dinners are a recurring highlight, and breakfast is known for being generous and varied. The restaurant is open to outside guests as well as hotel residents.
Location & Getting There
The villa sits on Cami d'es Pedregar, km 2, in Selva — nestled within a designated nature conservation area on a 30,000 m² estate with panoramic views of the Tramuntana mountains. The approach road from the main road is winding and thoroughly Mallorcan in character; if you're driving, it's worth allowing a little extra time.
The Estate & Atmosphere
Pigs, cats, dogs, peacocks and ducks roam freely across the grounds — a detail that guests consistently find utterly charming. Well-tended gardens, a pool area and ancient olive trees define the estate's character. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, and the house itself feels peaceful and secluded, with a relaxed, homely atmosphere throughout.
Who It's For
Villa Vegana is a natural fit for anyone seeking a quiet, nature-filled retreat — whether as a hotel guest or simply coming to eat. The house is explicitly family-friendly and welcomes children as warmly as couples and solo travellers. Even non-vegans tend to find the food thoroughly satisfying and complete.
