Vins Galmés i Ribot is a family-run winery in Santa Margalida in the north-east of Mallorca, producing natural wines from organic farming under the name Ve d'Avior.

Autochthonous Grape Varieties & Organic Viticulture

At the heart of the estate are autochthonous, region-specific grape varieties found exclusively on Mallorca. The wines are crafted in a traditional, unadulterated style — produced entirely through organic farming. Alongside wine, a range of other organic products is available to buy directly at the estate, including honey and grape jam.

Wine Tasting & Bodega Tour

Visitors are welcome to tour the winery and follow it up with a tasting of the wines. During the tasting, you can watch the grape-processing up close and even sample the grapes themselves. Local food is served to accompany the wines, and you can purchase bottles directly on site.

Family Tradition & Ve d'Avior

The estate is led by Cati Ribot Galmés, a third-generation winemaker. The wine's name, Ve d'Avior, means 'from the past' in Mallorcan — a nod to the family's roots in growing table grapes, almonds and olives. In the 1990s, her father Jaume planted international varieties with wine production in mind, and the bodega itself was built in 2004.
