Cuisine & Specialities
The paella is one of the most consistently praised dishes — it takes a little while to arrive, which speaks to it being freshly made. Tapas are very much at home on the menu too: croquettes, patatas bravas, meatballs, Padrón peppers and provoleta all get a regular mention. The freshly squeezed orange juice made from Sóller oranges is a highlight in its own right. You'll also find gambas al ajillo, spaghetti, Angus beef burgers, salads, empanadas and sangria on the menu.
Location & Atmosphere
Xapeta sits on Carrer de Vives 6 in Sóller, away from the busiest part of the centre yet still close to it. The multi-storey venue has a small balcony on the upper floor as well as a terrace — both are popular spots. The interior is narrow, and the atmosphere is consistently described as cosy and relaxed.

The service is friendly, attentive and accommodating — that comes through time and again. Portions are generous, and the value for money is widely considered good to very good. The occasional more critical voice serves as a reminder that expectations can vary.
