Description
Xarcuteria Creus is a delicatessen stall inside Palma's Mercat de l'Olivar, specialising in cured ham, charcuterie, and Mallorcan produce.
Ham, Charcuterie & More
The centrepiece of the range is the ham selection: a variety of cuts across different quality grades and origins are on offer, including a Jamón Ibérico Ecológico de Salamanca. Alongside ham, the stall stocks artisan charcuterie and sobrassada.
History & Roots
The story of the business stretches back to the village of Santa Maria, where the current owner Toni Creus's grandfather ran a food shop. His father, Pedro Creus Ferrer, used to cycle to the slaughterhouses in Consell in the post-war years — a bicycle being the only inheritance he had received from his family. Today, Xarcuteria Creus is regarded as one of the stalwart names in the Mercat de l'Olivar.
Inside the Mercat de l'Olivar
The stalls — numbers 64 to 68 — are located in the Mercat de l'Olivar in the Centre district, right in the heart of Palma. The market building is one of the city's key shopping destinations, bringing together a wide range of traders under one roof.
