Zhimbad B&B by the Sea is an unpretentious guesthouse in Cala Ratjada with a bar and breakfast offering, set apart by its location just a short stroll from the beach.

The rooms are simply furnished, with some older pieces throughout — if you're after upscale comfort, this isn't the place for you. That said, rooms are clean and tidied daily, with towels changed regularly. Some rooms come with a balcony overlooking woodland and hills. There's no air conditioning, but a ceiling fan is provided.

Both check-in and the breakfast buffet take place at the partner hotel directly across the way, rather than in the guesthouse itself. The breakfast there has drawn plenty of praise from guests.
