Afro Bros

Arnhem, Netherlandshouse · reggaeton · latin-house · dance
Giordano Ashruf and Rashid Badloe – known as Afro Bros – are an Afro-Dutch DJ and production duo from Arnhem. Active since 2006, they started out promoting parties in the nightclub scene before landing their first commercial hit "Dubbelfriss" in 2010. They coined their own genre, Booty Beats, blending Latin, house, Afro-house and moombahton. Their international breakthrough came with the viral "18 Plus" in 2016, followed by the Latin Grammy-nominated "Sua Cara" with Major Lazer. Their biggest global success came as co-producers of "X" (Nicky Jam & J Balvin, over 2 billion YouTube views and 900 million Spotify streams) and "Instagram" (2019) with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, David Guetta, Daddy Yankee and Natti Natasha. Also in 2019, they released "Boomshakalaka" featuring Sebastián Yatra, Camilo and Emilia. In 2020, they contributed to J Balvin's Latin Grammy-nominated album "Colores." Their 2024 release "She Knows" united them once again with David Guetta, Akon and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. Signed to Spinnin' Records and represented by Universal Music Publishing Latin America, Afro Bros are a powerhouse on international club and festival stages.
