David Gómez is a Majorcan pianist and composer born in Wattwil, Switzerland, in 1974. He trained professionally in the Netherlands, completing studies at the Rotterdam Conservatory in piano, tango for piano, and orchestra conducting. Over more than 20 years of international artistic work, his music moves between contemporary classical, ambient, instrumental, and cinematic styles. He gave his first concert at the age of 14, and touring has been his way of life ever since. Notable performances include the Carnegie Hall in New York, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Doelen in Rotterdam, and the Cairo Opera House. Inspired by love, life experiences, and social justice, he describes himself as a storyteller at the piano — weaving delicate melodies, ambient textures, and majestic silences. His albums were produced by Joe Dworniak under the Riversfih Records label, including "The Island" (2013) and "Pianographie." As a Majorcan artist with international roots, he brings a distinctive and deeply personal live experience to the island stage.
