Camí de Ferro Race
The Cursa Camí de Ferro is one of Europe's most unusual trail runs: the route follows almost the entire length of the historic Tren de Sóller railway. From the station in Palma, the 27 km main course (Palma–Sóller) passes through 13 tunnels and over bridges down into the valley of Sóller, including the 2.8 km Túnel Major beneath the Serra d'Alfàbia. Organised by Club Esportiu BonKamí with support from the Ferrocarril de Sóller, the race blends athletic challenge with landscape and history. A headlamp is required for the dark tunnels – a running experience found nowhere else.
