NOTTURNI by UGO RICARDI – Exhibition

Ugo Ricciardi’s photographic work focuses on exploring spaces charged with historical, spiritual, and architectural meaning. His fascination with photography as a tool capable of recording and revealing light is reflected in images that capture unique and evocative atmospheres. Through his camera, the artist investigates the relationship between human beings, the natural environment, and the ancestral memory that inhabits certain places. From this search comes Notturni, a series begun in 2015 that brings together photographs taken under moonlight in different places around the world. In these images, nocturnal lighting transforms landscapes and buildings into settings of great poetic intensity, where the symbolic dimension and mysterious character of each place acquire an almost palpable presence.
