From sixth grade onward, she attended the music school in Weimar and later studied at the "Franz Liszt" conservatory with Professor Jost Witter, where she completed her studies in 1988. To continue her training, she moved to Leipzig, where she received lessons from Professor Gerhard Bosse, and to Vienna, where she was a student of Professor Gerhard Hetzel. During her stay in Leipzig, she played in the "Gewandhaus" orchestra as part of her musical education. Since 1989 she has been a member and second concertmaster of the "Rundfunk Sinfonieorchester Berlin". Susanne Herzog also performs as a chamber musician, as violinist in the "Gideon Klein trio", or in duet with Alexander Malter (piano). She was already a guest soloist at the Port de Sóller Classical Music Festival in 2012, 2014 and 2015. Franziska Drechsel, violin Franziska Drechsel comes from a musical family and received her first violin lessons at the early age of five. At the age of eleven, she was admitted to the children's class at the Hochschule für Musik "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig and later studied at the Leipzig Conservatory of Music with Professor Klaus Hertel.
