AK Ausserkontrolle – real name Davut Altundal – is a Berlin rapper of Kurdish descent, born on November 30, 1989, in the Wedding district of Berlin. His parents are originally from the Mardin Province in Turkey and emigrated via Lebanon to Germany. He first made a name for himself as a long-standing member of the Berlin hip-hop collective Ausserkontrolle before leaving in 2017 and signing with Bushido's label Ersguterjunge. His debut solo album "A.S.S.N." dropped the same year, followed by "XY" (2018), "Panzaknacka", the double No. 1 album "A.S.S.N. 2" (2020), and "BLACKOUT" (2023) – five Top 10 albums in Germany in total. Across all platforms he has surpassed one billion streams. High-profile collaborations with Capital Bra, Bonez MC, Pashanim, Kontra K, and Shirin David cement his place at the top of the German street rap scene. In 2026, he signed an exclusive publishing deal with BMG and continues to run his own label, XY Records. His sound is defined by raw, direct street rap with an unmistakable Berlin signature.
