Alex DJ, whose real name is Alexis Colón, hails from Humacao, Puerto Rico. He started his career at just 16, DJing at quinceañera celebrations and working his way up through local radio. His rise is a story of perseverance: in his early days, he drove a $300 car to reach his gigs. He achieved his breakthrough as the host and DJ of the hugely popular game show "Puerto Rico ¡Gana!" on Telemundo Puerto Rico, which has been airing since May 13, 2019. Produced by TeleMania and recorded at the Eddie Miro Studio in San Juan, the show features him alongside co-host Jeananthony "Chino" Medina. His energetic presence and down-to-earth personality have made him the face of Puerto Rican entertainment television, earning him the title "Animador del pueblo" – the people's entertainer. Despite his success, he consistently credits his humble origins as what keeps him grounded.
