ANGELUS APÁTRIDA

Angelus Apatrida are a thrash metal band from Albacete, Spain, formed in March 2000. With a stable line-up of vocalist/guitarist Guillermo Izquierdo, bassist Jose Izquierdo, guitarist David G. Alvarez and drummer Victor Valera, they evolved from early heavy and power metal influences into a relentless Bay Area-flavoured thrash sound. Their 2006 debut "Evil Unleashed" launched them onto the international scene, and in 2009 they signed with Century Media Records – a landmark deal for a Spanish metal act. From 2010 onwards all four members committed to the band full-time. A string of acclaimed albums followed: "Clockwork" (2010), "The Call" (2012), "Hidden Evolution" (2015), the widely praised "Cabaret de la Guillotine" (2018), the self-titled "Angelus Apatrida" (2021) and "Aftermath" (2023). Their music is defined by high-speed riffs, aggressive rhythms and politically charged lyrics. The band has toured across Europe, South America and Asia, playing major international metal festivals. In June 2025 they are scheduled to perform in Spain, including a date in Palma de Mallorca.
