Arraigo

Arraigo is an Argentine folk metal band that blends progressive metal with Spanish-language lyrics and traditional Latin American sounds. The group comprises Pablo Trangone (vocals, derbaque, leguero), Mariano "Vasco" Perret (guitars, charango, vocals), Leandro Ramogida (guitar, vocals), Federico Pietro (drums), and Leonardo Adamini (bass). Their debut album "Crioyo" was released in 2025 on an independent label, merging folk metal structures with Argentine roots music and clean vocals throughout. Critics drew comparisons to Salduie, Rata Blanca, and Alesto. By fusing Argentine folklore with progressive metal, Arraigo occupies a distinctive niche within the international heavy music scene.
