Barry B
Aranda de Duero, Spanienpop · indie-pop · urban pop
Barry B, born Gabriel Barriuso García, hails from Aranda de Duero and has carved out a distinctive place in Spain's indie pop scene. His musical journey began in the rock band The Girondines, formed with his childhood friend Sam Gold. His solo breakthrough came through self-production: using the Garage Band app on his iPad, he created his first song "Kit Kat," which brought him recognition in 2021 and a deal with Sony Music. Together with longtime friends Drummie (producer) and Sam (guitarist), he created "Soleá," a track that opened up a niche for him in the Madrid music scene. Singles like "ROCKIES" and "bla bla bla" followed, before he released the more ambitious three-act project "Eternal Pink." Musically, Barry B blends urban pop with the electricity of rock and vice versa, collaborating with artists like Aitana, Ralphie Choo, and Carolina Durante. The press particularly highlights his originality and unpredictability. With his Fortuna Tour, he now brings the universe of his upcoming studio album to the stage, backed by a full band and renewed stage production.
