Bierkapitän

Bierkapitän – real name Patrick Portnicki, born on 19 March 1982 in Aachen – is a German party-Schlager singer who also performs under the pseudonym Richard Bier. Blending catchy Schlager melodies with electronic beats, he has carved out a solid place in the German-speaking party and festival scene. He gained wider recognition with the single "Lea" (with Andy Luxx & DJ Aaron), which reached number 23 on the German charts in August 2022 and stayed there for five weeks. He also collaborated with Markus Becker on the track "Bierkapitän" from the project "Der Fussball Sommer 2021" (MORE Music, 2021), a typical summer-and-football party anthem. Further collaborations include "Mallorca ich komm heim – Wellerman" with Stefan Sturmer and Julian Sommer, as well as the remix "Lea – Hütten-Mix" with DJ Aaron and Andy Luxx. With his energetic Schlager sound and Mallorca-themed material, Bierkapitän is a familiar face at German party events and on the Balearic Islands.
