Bootshaus is Germany's number-one electronic music club and one of the world's most acclaimed dance music venues. Founded in a former boat warehouse in Cologne's Deutz harbour district, the club celebrated its 22nd anniversary in 2026. With a capacity of 1,900 and three floors – the expansive Main Room, the Blackbox, and the industrial-style Dreherei – Bootshaus attracts over 200,000 guests and more than 500 DJs every year. In DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs 2025 poll, it ranked 7th globally. Headline acts have included Skrillex, David Guetta, Avicii, Sven Väth, and Amelie Lens, with resident DJs such as Dave Replay, Isis Cloudt, and Oliver Magenta holding down regular duties. The legendary "Loonyland" party series established the club's reputation across Europe for indietronic, hosting the first Ed Banger nights in Germany and Gesaffelstein's German debut. In February 2026, Bootshaus launched its own imprint, Bootshaus Music, with debut releases including "Euphoria" by OGUZ & Jay Toledo and "RADSPORT" by George Radsport & Mausio. The club also became the first venue in Germany to install the L-Acoustics DJ spatial audio system.
