CamelPhat

CamelPhat are the Liverpool-based DJ and production duo of Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala, active since 2006. Before settling on the CamelPhat name, the pair released music under a string of aliases including The Bassline Hustlers, Pawn Shop, and Da Mode. Their international breakthrough came in 2017 with "Cola", a collaboration with Elderbrook on Defected Records, which hit No. 3 on the UK Dance Chart, No. 18 on the UK Singles Chart, and No. 1 on the US Billboard Dance Club Songs chart – earning them Grammy and Ivor Novello nominations and multi-platinum certification. Musically, CamelPhat operate at the intersection of house and tech house, combining underground club credibility with genuine crossover appeal. Further high-profile collaborations followed with Jake Bugg, Jem Cooke, Au/Ra, Green Velvet, and Yannis from Foals. Their debut album "Dark Matter" dropped in late 2020. They also run their own imprint, When Stars Align, and rank among Beatport's best-selling acts of all time, accumulating billions of streams. Festival highlights include Glastonbury, Coachella, Creamfields, and Parklife, alongside a residency at Pacha Ibiza.
