Capital Bra

Capital Bra, born Vladislav Balovatsky on November 23, 1994, in Siberia, Russia, to Ukrainian parents, moved to Berlin's Alt-Hohenschönhausen district at age seven and started rapping at eleven. His first public performance came at the renowned Berlin battle-rap tournament "Rap am Mittwoch" in 2014. His debut album "Kuku Bra" followed in 2016, with "Makarov Complex" and "Blvat" released in 2017. The album "Berlin Lebt" (2018) catapulted him to the top of the German streaming scene. His sixth studio album "CB6" (2019) was the first released on his own label, Bra Music. The collaborative album with Samra, "Berlin Lebt 2," hit No. 1 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, spawning four chart-topping singles. The single "Tilidin" (with Samra) set a German streaming record with three million streams in a single day. With 21 No. 1 hits, Capital Bra is the most successful charting artist of the 21st century in Germany. In 2020 he signed a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music. His sound blends gangsta rap, cloud rap and trap, with East Slavic and Arabic influences woven into his lyrics.
