Coral Gabellina

Coral Gabellina was born in Buenos Aires and began playing guitar and writing her own songs at the age of 14. In the summer of 2001 she self-released her debut album, selling more than 3,000 copies throughout Argentina. In 2002 she relocated to South Beach, immersing herself in America's thriving Latin rock scene. Her March 2006 release was recorded and produced in New York City with producers including Itaal Shur and Pete Miser, and her music video "Abril" was deemed "buzz-worthy" by MTV Español. As a live act she performed to packed houses at prestigious New York venues such as Town Hall, S.O.B.'s and Joe's Pub, as well as Miami's Bayfront Park Theater and Macarena. She also appeared at the Super Bowl's opening party and played outdoor music festivals. Video footage documents her performing "El último romántico" in Cala Rajada, Mallorca. Coral is currently working on a new album.
