CRUZANDO EL CHARCO

Cruzando El Charco was founded in 2012 in La Plata, Argentina, and has since grown into one of the most distinctive bands in the Argentine rock scene. The seven-piece group, fronted by vocalist Francisco Lago, blends rock, candombe, cumbia, reggae, pop, and funk into a sound rooted in barrio rock while constantly pushing stylistic boundaries. Their debut album *Perdonar* (2012), recorded at Argot Studios, laid the foundation. *Desde Adentro* (2014) followed with guest appearances from Bersuit Vergarabat and Guasones, and *A Mil* (2017) and *Lo Que Somos* (2019) broadened their reach through extensive tours across Argentina, Uruguay, Spain, and Mexico. Major stages such as Teatro Gran Rex, Luna Park, and Estadio Obras in Buenos Aires confirmed their reputation as a powerful live act. Their most ambitious release to date, *Esencia* (2024), features collaborations with Chano, Nahuel Pennisi, Facundo Soto, La K'onga, and Gustavo Cordera. In October 2026, Cruzando El Charco shared the stage with Las Pelotas at Es Gremi Centre Musical in Palma de Mallorca, proving that their energy resonates well beyond South America.
