Cucorba is a children's music group from Muro, Mallorca, founded in 1977 – the name means "blind man's buff" in Catalan, a classic children's game. The group consists of Francesc Aguiló Serra, Jeroni Cerdó Cladera, and Gabriel Gamundí Ramis; Gemma Palà joined from the album *Mamballetetes* onwards. Known for their colourful clown costumes and original Catalan-language children's songs, Cucorba made their recording debut in 1985 with *Com un pern de rifa*. Since then they have built an extensive discography including *Demà és festa* (1988), *Trencaclosques* (1990), *En Joan Petit quan balla* (1995), *Cucorba 30* (2006), and *Mamballetetes – Cançonetes per a persones petitetes* (2010). Through their music, they keep the Catalan language and Mallorcan folk culture alive for children, and have been a staple of children's cultural events across the Balearic Islands for decades.
