Die Jungen Zillertaler

Die Jungen Zillertaler – also known as JUZI – are an Austrian trio from Strass im Zillertal in Tyrol, consisting of Markus Unterladstätter (vocals, bass), Daniel Prantl (guitar, vocals) and Michael Ringler (accordion, vocals). Their first live performance took place in September 1993 at the breakthrough celebration of the Brettfall Tunnel. Self-described "Alpine Punks", they blend traditional Austrian folk music with party, pop and rock influences. Their debut album was released in 1997, followed by a string of further releases including albums on Universal Music Austria. Their biggest chart hit was a version of "So a schöner Tag", and in 2013 "Ohne dich (schlaf ich heut Nacht nicht ein)" reached #2 in the Austrian charts (Gold). Notable collaborations include "Schei wi dei wi du" with DJ Ostkurve and appearances alongside Stefanie Hertel. Their most recent studio album "Après Ski 1976" was released in 2025. JUZI are a staple of Après-Ski parties and folk music festivals across the German-speaking world.
