DJ Desue

DJ Desue – born Haschim Elobied on 23 April 1979 in Berlin – is one of the most influential hip-hop DJs and producers in the German rap scene. Growing up in Berlin with Sudanese roots, he laid the foundation early for a career now spanning more than two decades. His debut album "Art Of War" was released in 2002, featuring collaborations with artists such as Afrob, and marked his breakthrough. As a producer, Desue made a name for himself above all through his work on Fler's debut album "Neue Deutsche Welle" (2005, Aggro Berlin, chart peak #5), cementing his place at the heart of German gangsta rap. His style fuses classic hip-hop structures with electronic elements. On an international level, he has collaborated with acts including Fatman Scoop, Snoop Dogg, and Busta Rhymes. Desue gained further recognition through productions for Sido – including the IMDb-listed projects "Rockstarz" (2009, feat. Sido & Die Sekte) and "Der Chef" (2012) – as well as his connection to the Maskulin label. As a live act, he performs regularly on German club and open-air stages, most recently at Superjam Waghäusel (July 2025).
