Quentin Dombres, known as Dombresky, grew up in the south of France and attended his first underground rave as a teenager in a field near Montpellier – an experience that would shape his entire career. He started out as a hip-hop DJ in the French club scene, landing a four-nights-a-week residency just weeks into his first semester at university. In 2016, encouraged by DJ Snake and Tchami, he made a complete stylistic switch to house music and relocated to Los Angeles. Tchami signed him to the Confession label, where singles such as "Utopia" and "Wait" appeared. His definitive breakthrough came with "Soul Sacrifice," surpassing 50 million Spotify streams, followed by "Simple Hit" with over 21 million streams. Dombresky has collaborated with Diplo, Armand van Helden, Claptone, MK and Blond:ish, released on Fool's Gold and Insomniac Records, and remixed Taylor Swift's "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart," among others. He founded his own label Process Records and Process Radio. On the festival circuit he has played Coachella, EDC (main stage), Lollapalooza and Tomorrowland; as a headliner he sold out the Shrine Auditorium and the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. His sound fuses disco influences with driving four-on-the-floor beats into a distinctive, dancefloor-focused house style.
