Dopebwoy

Dopebwoy, born Jordan Jacott on March 14, 1994 in Amsterdam and raised in Almere, is one of the leading figures in the Dutch hip-hop scene. Growing up as the son of DJ Flash and nephew of DJ Jeff, he was immersed in music from an early age, teaching himself beat production on FL Studio. He first made his name behind the scenes, producing for Dutch artists such as Yes-R, Jayh, and F1rstman, before stepping into the spotlight with his 2016 debut single "Selecta." His 2017 debut album "Nieuw Goud" charted at #36 in the Dutch Album Top 100, but it was "Cartier" (feat. Chivv & 3robi), also released in 2017, that made him a household name — at the time of release it was the most-streamed Dutch-language song ever on Spotify and YouTube. His albums "Forever Lit" (2019, #1) and "Hoogseizoen" (2020, #3) cemented his status. In 2020 he founded his own imprint, Forever Lit Records, in partnership with Warner Music Benelux. Notable collaborations include "Vakantie" with Jonna Fraser (13M+ YouTube views), as well as tracks with Boef, Josylvio, Yxng Bane, and Aya Nakamura. His most recent releases, including "Lira Galore" (feat. Russ Millions, 2025), show he remains an active force in Dutch urban music.
