Draufgänger

Die Draufgänger are an Austrian Schlager and party band from Styria, founded in 2001 in Semriach. Starting out as a cover band, they evolved into a staple of the German-language party music scene, celebrated for their humorous parodies, folk-flavoured melodies and high-energy performances at Volksfests, après-ski events and carnival celebrations. The lineup features Albert Mario Lampel (vocals, electric guitar, violin, saxophone), Rudi Haberl (vocals, Styrian harmonica, guitar, electric bass), René Wohlgemuth (drums) and Robert Wolf (trombone, alphorn, electric guitar). Musically they blend Schlager with rock, folk music and rustic humour. Their best-known songs include "Cordula Grün", "Johnny Deere" and "Marie". Collaborations with Lorenz Büffel and Troglauer – for example on "Fendt (Layla)" – demonstrate a willingness to cross Schlager with fresh influences. Since the early 2000s they have released numerous albums, including "Jung, Frech, Steirisch" (2005), "Polkaparty" (2009) and "#Hektarparty" (2018). On Mallorca they fit perfectly into the party setting around the Ballermann and après-ski atmospheres.
