Duke Dumont – real name Adam George Dyment, born 27 August 1981 in Harrow, London – is one of the defining figures of British house music. He began his career as a remix specialist under the mentorship of Switch before releasing original productions on labels such as Turbo and Dubsided. His international breakthrough came in March 2013 with "Need U (100%)" feat. AME, which topped the UK Singles Chart and earned a Grammy nomination for "Best Dance Recording" at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards. The very next year, "I Got U" also reached UK number one and received a second Grammy nod in the same category. "Won't Look Back" (UK #2) and the atmospheric "Ocean Drive" further demonstrated his range between club-floor and crossover pop. Dumont founded his own label Blasé Boys Club and released his debut album "Duality" via Astralwerks, featuring collaborations with Roland Clark, How To Dress Well, and Zak Abel. His catalogue has surpassed four billion global streams. Most recently, his album "Union" – featuring the club anthem "The Chant" – underlines his focus on crafting powerful live experiences. In August he performs at BCM Mallorca.
