Eelke Kleijn

Rotterdam, Netherlandsmelodic-house · techno · house · electronic
Eelke Kleijn, born on 11 June 1983 in Rotterdam, is one of the Netherlands' most distinctive producers and DJs in the melodic techno and house scene. His first release under his own name – "4.5 Billion Years" (2003, Segment Records) – kicked off a career spanning more than two decades. In his early years (2003–2005) he produced under the aliases MI.D.O.R. and Six4Eight before committing exclusively to his own name. His sound fuses atmospheric grooves with melodic structures and influences from progressive house and indie-electronic music. Releases have appeared on Armada Music, Spinnin' Records, Global Underground, Suara, Toolroom, and Ministry of Sound, while his own label Days Like Nights has become a respected fixture in the scene. Artists such as Hernán Cattáneo, Sasha, and Dave Seaman regularly feature his tracks in their sets. He has performed internationally at Tomorrowland, Sziget Festival, and BPM Festival, with his Cercle set at Mont Saint-Michel among his most celebrated appearances. His fifth studio album "Connected" (Armada Music, May 2025) marks a new creative chapter with fully vocal-driven, indie-electronic productions. Alongside his DJ career, Kleijn composes music for TV series, commercials, and film trailers.
