Eliza Rose
London, Englandhouse · uk-garage · electronic · disco
Eliza Rose, born on 28 November 1991 in the East End of London, is a British DJ, producer and singer who grew up in Dalston. At just 14 she started working at the respected Flashback Records shop in East London, where she developed her deep love for soul, jazz, disco and UK garage. She began DJing in her late teens and released a debut EP rooted in neo-soul and vocal jazz in 2015.
Her breakthrough came in 2022 with "B.O.T.A. (Baddest of Them All)", produced by Interplanetary Criminal. The empowering house anthem was initially released on her own label Rosebud Recordings before going viral and being picked up by Warner. It topped the UK Singles Chart, making Eliza Rose the first female DJ to reach number one in the UK since Sonique in 2002, and was certified platinum for over 600,000 units sold.
2023 brought the hit collaboration "Body Moving" with Calvin Harris, followed by releases with MJ Cole and Sally C in 2024, and collaborations with DJ Tennis and Carl Cox in 2025. Signed to Defected Records, she also hosts a radio show for The Vinyl Factory, and her sound consistently bridges classic references with a modern club sensibility.
