Florian Koltun

Florian Koltun is a German concert pianist and music manager from Aachen. He studied at the University of Music and Dance Cologne and the University of Music Trossingen under Prof. Ilja Scheps and Tomislav Baynov, with masterclasses from B. L. Gelber and G. Rosenberg, among others. He made his public debut at the age of 14, winning multiple first prizes at the German competition Jugend musiziert and at the national Bach Competition in Köthen. He has since claimed first prizes at international piano competitions in Caraglio (Italy), Luxembourg, the Henri Herman Concours in Maastricht, and the "Notes in Harmony" competition in Bettona (Italy). Koltun performs regularly in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, France, Spain and China – including the Concert Hall Xiamen, the Henan Art Center Zhengzhou and the Poly Grand Theatre Hohhot. Together with Chinese pianist Xin Wang he forms a sought-after piano duo that appears at major international festivals, among them the Skrjabin Piano Festival Grosseto, the "Palau March Museu" Festival in Palma de Mallorca, and the International Music Festival Deià on Mallorca.
