Franky Rizardo

Netherlandshouse · techno · tech-house
Franky Rizardo – born Frank Ketelaar on June 1, 1988, in the Netherlands – is consistently ranked as the most internationally booked DJ from his country and one of Europe's leading house and techno exports. He began making beats at the age of 12, initially inspired by Daft Punk and trance pioneers like Tiësto and Armin van Buuren, before gravitating towards house music. Early residencies at Amsterdam's Club Manhattan and a weekly slot on Dutch radio station SLAM! FM laid the groundwork for an international career. He refined his deep, driving sound – blurring the boundaries between house and techno – through releases on Defected Records, Saved Records (Nic Fanciulli), Kaluki Musik, Do Not Sleep, Simma Black, and Milk & Sugar. Several tracks have surpassed one million streams, and his remix catalogue includes work for Roger Sanchez and numerous Defected artists. In 2015, he founded LTF Records as a platform for emerging house and techno talent. A core member of the Music On family since its 2011 inception, he has performed at Fabric (London), Shelter (Amsterdam), Pacha and Amnesia (Ibiza), and Tomorrowland, while also featuring in Ibiza's ANTS and Elrow line-ups. His own event concept, FLOW, further extends his influence beyond the DJ booth.
