Idaly

Amsterdam, Niederlandehip-hop · r&b · afro
Idaly Faal, born on 28 November 1995 in Amsterdam, is a Dutch rapper, singer and producer with Senegalese roots. He launched his career in 2015, inspired by an early music workshop with Dutch rapper Adje, and joined the collective New Wave that same year. His first chart entry came with "No Go Zone" in the Single Top 100, produced in collaboration with fellow Dutch artists. His debut album "Eindelijk" followed in 2016. He broke through to a wider audience with the remix of "Wine Slow" (feat. Ronnie Flex, Famke Louise & Bizzey), which peaked at number 3 in the Top 100 in late 2018. In 2020 he released the joint project "IDALIAS" alongside Sevn Alias. His album "Betty" (early 2023) is a deeply personal tribute to his late grandmother, shaped by calm R&B influences. "Nachten Als Dit" then brought more rhythm and lyrical range. Signed to Amsterdam's Top Notch Music, Idaly has collaborated with Dopebwoy, Henkie T and Ronnie Flex, among others. Sold-out shows at Paradiso Amsterdam confirm his standing in the Dutch urban scene.
