Il Pagante

Milan, Italydance-pop · electronic · house · reggaeton
Il Pagante is a Milanese dance-pop trio consisting of singers Federica Napoli and Roberta Branchini alongside rapper Eddy Veerus (Edoardo Cremona). The group originated in 2010 as a satirical Facebook profile mocking the lifestyle of young Milanese clubbers and the city's PR culture. The fictional character "Johnny il Pagante" became so convincing that many followers believed he was real. In 2014 the trio signed to Warner Music Italy and released the single "Faccio After". Their debut album *Entro in Pass* (2016) peaked at number three in the Italian charts. Three further albums followed: *Paninaro 2.0* (2018), *Devastante* (2022), and *FOMO* (2025), the latter via Believe Music. Their sound blends EDM styles – trance, Italo house, and reggaeton – with deliberate AutoTune and ironic lyrics. Notable collaborations include "Open Bar" with The Kolors, tracks with Gemelli Diversi, Madman, and Fabio Rovazzi. "Settimana Bianca" earned a gold certification, and "Spingere" (feat. Villabanks) reached number 21 in the Italian singles chart in 2024. The band has toured extensively across Italy, consistently selling out large venues and becoming a staple of Italian party culture.
