IÑIGO QUINTERO
A Coruña, Spainpop · latin-pop
Íñigo Quintero Dolz del Castellar, born on 12 December 2001 in A Coruña, Galicia, is one of the most surprising breakthroughs in recent Spanish pop music. His debut single "Si No Estás" was released quietly in September 2022 and went unnoticed for nearly a year — until TikTok turned it into a global phenomenon, propelling him from 30,000 to around 20 million monthly Spotify listeners within weeks. The piano-driven ballad topped the Spotify Global Charts, making Quintero the first Spanish solo artist to ever reach that milestone. It also led charts in Spain, Austria, France, Germany, and numerous other countries. His label Acqustic supported him through this rise, and he additionally signed a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music Spain. Follow-up singles "Sobredosis" (over 20 million streams), "Será Por Ti", and the collaboration "Sin Tiempo Para Bailar" with Javi Chapela further established his signature sound: emotional pop ballads built on piano melodies and introspective lyrics about heartbreak, spirituality, and self-discovery. In April 2024 he released the EP "Es Solo Música", which earned him a Latin Grammy nomination. Live, he has performed on major festival stages across Europe and Latin America, most recently at the Suite Music Festival in Barcelona's Sala Apolo in February 2025.
