Jamie Jones

Jamie Jones, born in 1980 in Bontnewydd, Wales, is one of the most influential figures in global house and tech-house music. Growing up near Caernarfon, he developed a passion for electronic music early on and began pursuing his career seriously after graduating from university. His first steps came through warehouse parties in East London — the "DJs Can Dance" events — before he debuted in 2005 with the track "Amazon" on French label Freak N' Chic. His second track "Panic" appeared on Crosstown Rebels in 2006, opening the door to further releases on the label. His debut album "Don't You Remember the Future" (2009) cemented his reputation in clubland. In 2010, he co-founded Hot Creations with Lee Foss, which grew into one of the most influential house and tech-house labels, home to artists like Patrick Topping, Andrea Oliva, and Rebuke. With his band Hot Natured, he scored a Top 40 UK Singles Chart hit in 2012 with "Benediction." The Resident Advisor community voted him the world's best DJ in 2011. Jones is also renowned for his Paradise party series, established as a residency at Ibiza's DC10 and later at Amnesia. Collaborations with Boy George, Green Velvet, Moodymann, and the Martinez Brothers highlight his stylistic range.
