Jonas Blue

Jonas Blue – real name Guy James Robin, born 2 August 1989 in Essex – is one of Britain's most successful dance-pop producers and DJs. Raised in London, he began making music at the age of eleven and signed to the London house label Defected at eighteen. His international breakthrough came in 2015 with a tropical house reimagining of Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car" (feat. Dakota), which debuted at number two on the UK Singles Chart and remained in the top ten for eleven weeks. Further chart hits followed, including "Perfect Strangers", "Mama" (feat. William Singe, UK Chart: no. 4), "Rise" (feat. Jack & Jack) and "Polaroid" (feat. Liam Payne & Lennon Stella). His debut album *Blue* (2018), released via Capitol and Virgin EMI among others, earned the Brit Certified Breakthrough Award and features collaborations with Nina Nesbitt, Jessie Reyez and Joe Jonas. His catalogue boasts over 22 billion global streams, more than 130 platinum certifications and five BRIT Award nominations. As a main-stage DJ he performs worldwide at festivals including Ultra Music Festival and at premier clubs such as Hï Ibiza.
