Julian Sommer

Julian Sommer, born on January 29, 1998, in Hausten in the Mayen-Koblenz district, is one of the rising names in German Partyschlager. Before pursuing a music career, he worked as a sales manager in the automotive industry. The decisive spark came during regular family holidays in Platja de Palma: in the bars around Ballermann 6, he discovered his passion for Partyschlager. In May 2019, he met his current manager Robin Ratjen at the Bierkönig. His first singles were released in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. His breakthrough came in 2022 with "Dicht im Flieger", released on March 18, 2022 via Universal Music: the track entered the German singles charts (position 91) and was certified 7× Platinum in Germany and 8× Platinum in Austria. Since then, Sommer has steadily expanded his catalogue with singles such as "Dachdecker", "Handwerker", a collaboration with Mia Julia ("Peter Pan", Gold-certified) and "Wenn ich nüchtern wär" with Luca-Dante Spadafora. In 2025, "SOS" appeared on the compilation "Ballermann Hits 2025". Sommer is signed to Sommer Music Lab. Mallorca and the Ballermann have always felt like home to him — fittingly, since that is where it all began.
