Kiko Navarro

house · afro-house · melodic-house · disco
Kiko Navarro, born Francisco José Navarro Gómez, is one of Spain's most celebrated house DJs and producers – and a native of the very island you're on right now: Mallorca. Growing up fascinated by the soulful side of US house music, he developed an unmistakable sound that weaves Afro-Latin rhythms, soul vocals and dancefloor energy into a deeply personal style. His talent quickly caught the attention of the Pacha group, who offered him residencies in Palma and Ibiza, followed by a monthly slot at Space Ibiza. In 2000 he co-founded the label Flamingo Discos; his 2001 compilation "The Latin Sound of Pacha" on Tommy Boy Records brought him to an international audience. His debut album "Perceptions of Pacha" (2007) and "Everything Happens for a Reason" (2017, BBE Music) cemented his status as a serious album artist. He has collaborated with labels such as Local Talk, King Street Sounds and Yoruba Records, and with artists including Buika and DJ Fudge. His tracks have featured in the sets of Gilles Peterson and Jeff Mills, and even on the Grand Theft Auto soundtrack. 2020 saw the Afro-house album "Afroterraneo", followed by the meditative "Sounds of My Breath" in 2022 and the 2025 EP "Les Cousins" with Pere Navarro. Mallorca remains not just his home, but the creative heart of his music.
