Korolova, real name Olga Korolova, was born on March 17, 1988, in Chernihiv, Ukraine. Her musical journey began early: she started playing piano at age six, and a live set by Gabriel & Dresden in 2004 ignited her passion for electronic music. She began her DJ career in 2011 under the name DJ Da Queen, with an early gig at Beach Club 117 in Crimea alongside Armin van Buuren vocalist Chris Jones.
The turning point came at Daydream Festival in Mexico in 2017, where Korolova discovered her true artistic identity in melodic techno and progressive house – defined by driving beats and soaring melodies. Under her new name, she quickly secured releases on Ultra Records, Armada, AFTR:HRS, Get Physical Music, and Anjunabeats, alongside a collaboration with Jan Blomqvist and a project on Tiësto's Musical Freedom label. In October 2023, she founded her own label, Captive Soul, which also operates as an events brand.
Korolova has performed on the Tomorrowland mainstage, at EDC Las Vegas, and at iconic venues including Space Miami, Green Valley Brazil, and Hi Ibiza. With over 100 million YouTube views and 50 million audio streams, she ranks among the most-streamed DJ artists in the scene. In 2026, her tour includes Ushuaïa Ibiza and BCM Mallorca in Magaluf. She currently lives on Mallorca.
