Leon Machère, born in Hamburg in 1992, is one of the more distinctive voices in German hip-hop. His YouTube channel, launched in 2011 initially as a prank format, quickly evolved into a music platform and laid the foundation for his career. Musically, he moves between classic and alternative hip-hop, blending catchy melodies with social and personal themes. His album F.A.M.E. (2017) is among his more substantial releases. He gained widespread recognition through the track "Copacabana" (2018, feat. Stard Ova & KALUMA), which also appeared as a remix and reached a broad audience. Other well-received singles include "Venezuela" (2020), "Je t'aime" (feat. Edin & Stard Ova), "Portofino" (feat. Kay One), "Dorfmatratze" (2022), and "LadyBoy" (2023). His collaboration with Kay One ranks among the most notable in German rap. The fact that "Malle I Love You" appears in his discography makes him especially relevant for Balearic performances and the island's party crowd.
