Lukas & Frank are a DJ duo founded in late 2024 who stand out for one clear reason: Lukas plays live saxophone, Frank plays live cello – right in the middle of their DJ sets. Lukas comes from a classical background, having studied clarinet before switching to saxophone and stepping behind the decks. Frank grew up with rock and techno, channelling his musical energy through the cello. The two actually came together on stage: booked independently for the same gig, they improvised on the spot and immediately struck a chord with Afro House and Melodic House grooves. Their Afro House remix of Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black" went on to rack up millions of streams, bringing them international attention. Throughout 2025 they released a continuous "Sax & Cello" mix series on YouTube, regularly dropping new volumes. Lukas & Frank have already shared stages with BLOND:ISH, Calvin Harris and FISHER, performed at Club Iris Dubai, and are set to make their London debut at The Steel Yard in 2026.
