MALLORCA CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL

The Mallorca Chamber Music Festival was founded by Joan López de Soria Homar, a Mallorcan violinist who graduated with honours from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid in 2024. The festival was born from a desire to share the beauty of chamber music with fellow musicians and friends — and to celebrate it in the place where it all began: Mallorca. The programme presents significant works from the chamber music repertoire, including compositions by Isaac Albéniz. Participating musicians include Ignacio Fernández, Pablo Figueras, Miguel Ángel Guerrero, Javier Moyá, Almudena Quintanilla, and Laura Torroba, among others. Alongside established artists, the festival actively supports emerging talent. Taking place in Palma, the festival is firmly established in the island's cultural calendar from 2026 onwards. It collaborates with ArtistLed, classical music's first artist-directed, internet-based recording label, and sees itself as a return to its roots — always moving forward while never forgetting where it all started.
