Vicenza, Italyhip-hop · trap · reggaeton
MamboLosco – real name William Miller Hickman III – was born on 16 August 1990 in Vicenza. The son of an American military father and an Italian mother from Puglia, he grew up moving between Italy and the United States, a duality that shapes his sound to this day. He launched his career in 2017 by founding the Sugo Gang collective in Vicenza and releasing the single "Guarda come flexo", which was certified platinum and brought him national recognition. That same year he appeared on the Dark Polo Gang track "Expensive" from the album Trap Lovers, widening his audience considerably. His debut album Arte (2019), released on Virgin Records / Universal Music Italia and produced with Nardi, blends hypnotic US trap with Italian R&B undertones, featuring contributions from Pyrex and Nashley. The collaborative project Caldo followed in 2020. MamboLosco has also worked with Boro Boro, Tony Effe, Slings, Andry The Hitmaker and Geolier, cementing his reputation as one of the defining voices of contemporary Italian trap.
