Miami Yacine

Miami Yacine, born Yassine Baybah in 1991 in Dortmund, grew up there with a family rooted in the Moroccan prefecture of Meknès. He started releasing music in 2012 with free mixtape downloads before joining the Dresden rap crew KMN Gang in July 2016 – a collective also featuring Zuna, Azet and Albi. His breakthrough came with the trap single "Kokaina" in September 2016, which racked up nearly 10 million YouTube views within its first month and eventually surpassed 100 million. His debut album "Casia" followed in 2017, with the single "Bon Voyage" going gold – making him the first rapper to simultaneously earn gold certification on two singles. Further albums including "Welcome 2 Miami" (2020), "Dilemma" (2020) and "Lost Tapes" (2024) have cemented his place in German-language rap. He has sold over 900,000 certified units according to official certifications, more than 800,000 of them in Germany. Notable collaborations include "Real Madrid" with Zuna and "KMN Member" with KMN Gang, Azet and Nash.
