Mickie Krause

Mickie Krause, born Michael Engels on June 21, 1970 in Wettringen in the Münsterland region of Germany, broke through in the German Schlager scene in 1999 with the party anthem "Zehn nackte Friseusen" ("Ten Naked Hairdressers"), which remains his signature hit to this day. Over a career spanning more than two decades, he has established himself as a mainstay of German party-Schlager. His style combines catchy melodies, humorous lyrics, and bouncy rhythms perfectly suited to festivals, après-ski events, and parties. His debut album *OK … Folgendes – Meine größten Erfolge Teil 2* was released in 2001 on Electrola (EMI), peaking at number 85 on the German album charts. In 2014, *Ein Wort sagt mehr als 1000 Bilder* (Universal Music Group) reached number 27. Among his best-known collaborations are "Wir sind die Kinder vom Suderhof" with Chaos Team and "Ich hab den Jürgen Drews gesehn" with Jürgen Drews. His label is Madizin Music. Krause regularly performs at German and European Schlager and party festivals, including Alpen Flair and Crazy Castle Festival.
