Miranda! is an Argentine electropop duo from Buenos Aires, founded in 2001. The band's core consists of Alejandro Sergi (vocals, guitar, keyboards) and Juliana Gattas (vocals), who originally performed as a quintet before becoming a duo. Their sound blends electropop, synthpop, indie pop, dub and house into a distinctive Latin pop style that has earned them a loyal following throughout Latin America, Spain, and the United States. Miranda! is one of the defining bands of Argentine pop in the 2000s: twenty MTV Video Music Awards Latinoamérica, seven Premios Gardel, two Latin Grammy nominations, one MTV Europe Music Award nomination and multiple Gaviota awards at the prestigious Viña del Mar International Song Festival – most recently in 2024 – speak to their enduring success. In 2008 they introduced their album *El Templo Del Pop* to the US market. After nearly 25 years, Sergi and Gattas are widely regarded as classics of their genre in Latin America, with a catalogue of hits that spans generations.
